Today, at noon, Ashira begins her 2010 World Series of Poker Main Event Championship journey during Day 1C. Two hours prior to that at 10am Las Vegas time, we meet with her by way of an Internet interface for a 1-on-1 poker coaching strategy session that allows me to coach her virtually in real time.
I am honored and proud to say that I am Ashira's poker coach. Our first outing together was Event #3 of the 2010 WSOP where she finished 14 out of 4,345.
Ashira is an amazing woman and poker player. She has the competitive spirit of a warrior and the intuitive insights of a high priestess.
Thank you, Ashira, for putting your trust in me. I am profoundly grateful. Your excellence causes me to take my poker coaching to new heights while it enriches my life.
Whenever Ashira comes to your mind, please send positive energy her way. The words to focus on are: Easy, Trust, Calm
As always, remember my motto:

Maggie, you are an intregral part of Ashira’s winning spirit. What you have taught Ashira about de-coding faces is a vital part of her poker tool box. I am looking forward to working with you on our upcoming projects more than you will ever know… understanding the science that will unmask poker faces has me on the edge of my seat! Our coaching clients are already clammering to sign up!

Good Luck.
Julie
Julie, thank you for echoing Easy, Trust, Calm! That is from where our strength and champion spirit springs.
Donna
Ashira,
It's been my experience to watch a person "grow" after a defeat, more so than after a triumph.
As Donna will tell you, the "great ones" build on what they learned and how they learned it and incorporate those highes and sometimes lows, into their game. The steady pro is the most challenging to defeat in the "long run."
You will compete and win with the lessor hand many more times over the course of your career, and lose with hands that frankly should have dominated and took down the pot, but that's poker. That's the 'equalizer," the ingredient that levels the playing field so you and others can sit and have a chance against the legends of the game, and without that, we'd all be watching just the elite dominate the game (as we did prior to when the WSOP went big time and on TV). From that point on the no-name made their name recognizable and so did internet play.
Plenty of time for remorse about have it shouldn't happen to you, but it happens to everyone and you must take a step forward (not backwards) when such an incident happens. The reason you play is to play the best you can, that is all any of us can do, and stay focused at the task at hand. If we are somehow derailed, we affirm our commitment and continue to challenge "ourselves" further so we can achieve the goals we set for ourself. If you don't, you would become just another player, some good days, some bad days, never reaching for the gold ring and being in the middle of the pack. For some that is wonderful, for you, it's a failure, so no sense crying about what could have happened, "Make it Happen."
Good luck, but more importantly, good skills moving forward!

Donna
To my wonderful support and energy team:
Thank you all so very much for your support. You all have given me a greater gift than you even know. More important than winning 100 Main Events, I got the priceless gift of my family finding out about this online.
Once my family saw the kind of support I was receiving from all of you, they let me know that they want to be a part of this element of my life–realizing how important it must be for me to have gone forward with this even though they didn't necessarily approve or understand.
Now my family has opened their hearts to it and realize it's not just a passing fancy, it's an endeavor and an important journey for me. I am grateful for every one of you and every moment you have held me in your hearts and minds.
And mostly I am grateful for meeting and working with Donna and Greg. She is my life coach–we joke, that one day we'll talk about poker. She's helped me become a better person. More disciplined, calmer, happier and I've learned things from her that carry over into my day to day life. I look forward to all of you experiencing what I've experienced and will continue to work on my "authentic self" (as Donna would say).
Life is good. I appreciate all of you more than I can express in words.
With love and sincerity,
Ashira
PS: We’ve only just begun. I will be expressing my continued gratefulness to you all for the many successes at the poker table that are coming.
Ashira, Win, lose or draw, we love you no matter what.
