Proud Mother from Hawaii Learns Poker

Who would have thought that poker coaching could positively affect lives? That was my intention and my hope, but when it is mirrored back to me, I am deeply touched.

This just came from our newest poker coaching client, Brenda from Hawaii. She's the proud mother standing behind her daughter in the photo:

Thank you for a great poker coaching session! I had a great time. My first week, I smiled the rest of the day. This week, I was in deep thought throughout the evening! Both times I have left "the table" feeling GOOD about myself, life in general, and what is yet come. I just can't explain it, but it's a new feeling for me, and I like it.

Thank you, Brenda! Your openness and commitment to learning make me a better poker coach.

To clarify, "the table" is how we meet. It is thru an online webinar platform where we connect in person at least three times a month for our LIVE 1-on-1 group coaching sessions. We log into the sessions for the coaching using USB headsets, or we can call in using a phone. I prefer headsets, which enable us to talk without a slight time delay like phones often create.

After checking everyone's connection before we begin, we unmute one person at a time. We keep the groups small so that each person gets high quality, individual time.

I love being a poker mindset coach. I love it more than I can begin to tell you.

  1. Such a happy face! Yes, I learned that poker coaching is not just about playing poker, but learning to play the game of life.

Donna, you are such a blessing. Keep up the good work!

    1. You got it, Cynthia! Poker is a clear, uncluttered view of our personal lives. When we set our intention to do so, we can literally disengage the hold our challenges have on us while stepping into our power.

  2. Hi Donna,
Having a poker mindset can powerfully affect peoples' lives. It's always a pleasure to read what people are saying about your training. It is a pleasure to know you.

    1. Hi Jim,
Certainly a pleasure knowing you as well, Jim, and it warms my heart when I see how what I love to do so positively affects other people.

    1. Thank you, Jo! That is one of our intentions. When our emotions are joyful, both our poker game and our lives are better. 🙂

Wow, Donna! I'm really starting to understand the poker coach / life coach analogy and how the two mirror each other. I think you've answered your calling but by taking the poker route! I never really understood what a "coach" of anything was for. Suddenly it's becoming clearer. I won't ever look forward to the end of my poker coaching sessions. Ur da bomb!! Thank you!

    1. Thank you, Brenda! Everyone has life strengths that they bring to the poker table. Yours are unique and special, and we look forward to watching you blossom. 🙂

  4. Donna has incredible "reading" skills even over the phone……she got me right away. She and Gregory are very dedicated to all of their coaching clients success…..I feel lucky already!

    1. When you open yourself to coaching, we can be your loving mirrors and provide the feedback that takes you to the next level. Thank you, Nicki, for allowing us in. We are all very lucky!
