When I first came online as a poker coach, I felt like I had just stepped into the Huxley novel, Brave New World. The Internet was dehumanizing and the technology was advancing at lightning speed.
Poker training and coaching is first about you. Secondly, it is about the other players. Lastly, it is about the cards. One of the exercises to help draw abundance to you, even at the poker table is a 40-day gratitude journal. Take a look at one entry from one of my poker-coaching clients that cracked me up.
Poker players often exist in the middle of a whirlwind of emotions. They are ecstatic when they win and bummed when they lose. The rub is that if you are a tournament poker player, the vast majority of the time you lose. You can turn even your losses into wins.
