It reminds me of a moment during the 1998 WSOP Main Event Championship final table that still cracks me up to this day. Fortunatly that event was televised. Even tho' you can't see the hole cards, it is a classic and certainly worth viewing if you ever have the chance.
As I recall, Kevin started the final two with around $2.2 million and Scotty with $1.3 million. Scotty has been chipping away at Kevin's stack until Kevin takes a stand and moves all in.
While Scotty is studying his cards, Kevin looks around and asks permission to go to the bathroom. After some hesitation, Kevin stands up, turns around, and leaves the table. He is completely out of camera view.
Scotty finally looks up from contemplating his situation to discover that Kevin is not sitting in the seat across from him. I'm sure Scotty was hoping to pick up a tell from Kevin.
Instantly as Scotty looks up without seeing Kevin, Scotty blurts out, "Where he go?"
Some things just stick with you.
Until next time, remember my motto…
If you can't raise, don't call.
